                                                What is mental health?<\/strong><\/p>\n

                                                Mental health is a level of psychological well-being or an absence of mental illness. It is the \u201cpsychological state of someone who is functioning at a satisfactory level of emotional and behavioural adjustment\u201d.<\/p>\n

                                                What are mental health conditions?<\/strong><\/p>\n

                                                There are several mental health conditions which include psychosis, depression, mood disorder and anxiety. In any year, 1 in 4 adults in Britain will experience at least one mental health need (The Office for National Statistics Psychiatric Morbidity report).<\/p>\n

                                                What is dementia?<\/strong><\/p>\n

                                                Dementia is a word used to cover many different conditions that affect the brain. The Alzheimer\u2019s Society estimate there are over 100 different conditions that fall under the dementia umbrella.<\/p>\n

                                                These conditions cause a decline or reduction inabilities, including:<\/p>\n

                                                  What is a learning disability?<\/strong><\/p>\n

                                                  A learning disability is a reduced intellectual ability and difficulty with everyday activities \u2013 for\u00a0example, household tasks, socialising or managing money \u2013 which affects someone for their whole\u00a0life.<\/p>\n

                                                  People with a learning disability tend to take longer to learn and may need support to develop new\u00a0skills, understand complicated information and interact with other people.<\/p>\n

                                                  Learning disability is a result of brain development being affected before birth, during birth or in a person\u2019s childhood. An individual with a learning disability may have difficulty understanding information, learning new skills, communicating and living independently.<\/p>\n
