This can lead to them repeating stories or asking the same question over and over again.<\/p>\n What is a learning disability?<\/strong><\/p>\n A learning disability is a reduced intellectual ability and difficulty with everyday activities \u2013 for\u00a0example, household tasks, socialising or managing money \u2013 which affects someone for their whole\u00a0life.<\/p>\n People with a learning disability tend to take longer to learn and may need support to develop new\u00a0skills, understand complicated information and interact with other people.<\/p>\n Learning disability is a result of brain development being affected before birth, during birth or in a person\u2019s childhood.
